Mentor Recognition Program
The American Meat Science Association (AMSA) mentor recognition program gives members a unique avenue to recognize the professional mentors or colleagues who have influenced their careers. The program allows such members to make a contribution designated for special activities in the name of the honored person.
Robert Bray
A fundraising drive for establishing a mentorship in the name of Robert Bray was started in December, 2006. Dr. Bray was AMSA's first president and the first recipient of the R.C. Pollock Award.
The funds raised from the mentorship recognition will be used to endow the AMSA R.C. Pollock Award. The mentorship is being coordinated by Robert Kauffman (rgkauffm@wisc.edu).
The fundraising goal for this mentorship is $15,000. If you would like to help recognize Dr. Bray by contributing to the mentorship, make a donation online or contact AMSA Executive Director Thomas Powell (tpowell@meatscience.org) for more information.
